One of my favorite flat sandals for warm weather, the Sam Edelman Eavan ($130), comes in many colors.

Sandal season is upon us and my wishlist is chock full of beautiful, pedicure-showcasing options. While I'm healing from a broken left foot (boo) comfort is especially important to me.

Which options will make the cut for my closet? Inside, some sweet shoes at a range of price points...

The ankle tie trend continues to delight me and J.Crew has a few fabulous options that all fit my feet and protect my arches. I'm loving the Slingback Flats in Gingham ($178, above) and Glitter ($178, also above), as well as their heeled cousins the Elsie Slingback Gingham Pumps ($298 + 30% off). These shoes are all very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and look so cute on! And on the super-steal side, reviews are saying that the J.Crew Factory Leather Fringe Slingback Sandals (now $49) are nearly identical to their retail twins at $70 less! The Sana Sandals ($60) at Anthropologie are another budget-friendly pair that are also stylish and not painful.

Another flat sandal I absolutely love is the Sam Edelman Eavan Sandal ($130, also available here) shown in the photo topping this post. These studded gladiators are wearable for hours comfortably. The soles are thick enough to keep my feet away from the hot pavement while all the straps give me good arch support without suffocating my ankles. They come in a variety of colors; the snake embossed pattern spoke highly to me. These sandals look so good with a pair of dark denim shorts and a white v-neck tee!

As we start to introduce heels into the equation, it's worth noting that these Dr Scholl's Warner Wedges ($108) are rather like walking on pillows. Block heels are also great for stability and comfort over the course of an active warm day; pairs like the Lien.Do by Seychelles Morelia Heels ($140), Mary Suede Heel ($79, above) and Emilia Heeled Sandal ($128 + 40% off) are in my closet because I can wear them out and about without needing to carry flats with me as backup. The Emilias are lovely in both colors -- the orange is more of a peachy color in real life.

Banana Republic's shoes in general tend to be very comfy for me, in addition to those Emilias I also own and love the Calisa Wrap Kitten Heel ($138 + 40% off) and the Honey Fringe Sandal ($130 + 40% off).

Topping my wishlist right now are the beautiful Klub Nico Tarina ($200) -- that dove grey color is sure to go with nearly everything, and will set off tanned skin nicely in the summer. One heel that may look challenging but is actually quite comfy even with its thin heel is Sam Edelman's Audrey ($100, see them on me here). I love the way these make my legs look!
