Dear Anthropologie: How about a new arrivals promo to go along with the Tag Sale?!?

Friday, June 19, 2015

Hmm. The Embroidered Chambray Dress ($148) might be a great last-second
addition to my Hawaii vacation suitcase.

Whoa. Has Anthropologie been holding out on us? Or have they simply saved the best summer 2015 new arrivals for last? I was pretty pleased with the last round of new arrivals earlier this month (explored in this post). Maybe it's because I'm in beach mode or vacation mode or whatever now, but looking at the newest pieces on Anthro's site, I said WOW more than once!

I have a great idea Anthropologie. Throw your loyal fans one beautiful bone. Want to up your revenue in a big way for the quarter? In addition to the Tag Sale, give us a one-day promo on the entire store, during the Tag Sale. Give us another 15% off anthro Day (20% would be even better!) to stoke our incentive to both clear out your overstuffed sale section and buy a lot of new goodies too.

I know I would! Let's take a look at some of the newest pretties that just landed in my shopping cart...

Colorblocked Sama Dress ($168)
Really, really wish this had come out
sooner...would be perfect for Hawaii
if I didn't already own something similar.

Sunfall Maxi Dress ($158)
Ditto.

Shimmered Gauze Tunic ($138)
I love the loose, beachy vibe of this dress.

Pineapple Grove Dress ($188)
For sure the best deployment of pineapples.

Neva Crochet Tank ($168)
This whole outfit = WANT.

Beautiful styling, made me take a second look
at the Raisa Tank ($88) too.

Rodanthe Skirt ($158)
Eh, not loving the styling here,
but the skirt is so lovely!

Nala Tank ($68)
Love this tank, and love the (super-pricey)
Reyes Pendant Necklace ($498) shown with it.

Optique Tank ($98)

Split Facade Tee ($58)
I like everything about this top except the color, which reads more fall than summer to me. Wish it came in other colors!!

Vetula Bib Necklace ($68)
Drool.

Bobbin Eyeglass Pouch ($24)
You say eyeglass pouch, Anthro,
I say beach purse.

Iguazu Scarf ($395)

New Balance 530 Sneakers ($100)
Wish these were the no-tie laces,
but do love New Balance very much.

Are Anthropologie's latest new arrivals jumping out at you too? Would a promo on the whole store entice you towards a purchase? Hint, hint, Anthro!
