I hope that everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day! My eternal gratitude goes to all the men and women who have served, are currently serving or have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve this country's cherished freedoms. Thanks as well to the families of those brave enough to send a loved one off to defend our freedoms. I have multiple veterans in my family (mainly pilots, says the girl who is scared to fly) and no matter what your opinions of our current engagements I hope that you will always support our troops. I am a member of the National Military Family Association, whose efforts support the families of currently deployed and discharged troops. My membership is just $20 a year and it's a small way for me to say thanks.
Guess what? Even though we had a markdown last week and one the week before we're getting more markdowns tomorrow!! Maybe. I'm getting varying reports. So if it happens it will be small. Anthropologie might be trying a new tactic it appears. Small markdowns each week to see if it stimulates more purchases (and moves more full-price items). I can tell you it's totally working on me. I walk in, check out the sale section, and end up walking out with a bag mysteriously full of both sale and full-priced items. I have no idea how it happens I tell you. No idea!

Could it please go on sale tomorrow? Pretty please? This item came out when I was 27 Anthro! And now I'm 28!! Throw an Anthroholic a bone here.
Speaking of which, Kim from Anthroholic stopped by her local Anthro and didn't see anything. She's usually spot-on so perhaps we'll be markdownless tomorrow after all. We'll see in the morning! I know that some of the items on my list recently came out in new colors but so what? I would love to see the "older" colors marked down.
