Anthropologie reached out to me directly this weekend as well to let me know that they are in fact NOT starting their own official blog. Which, whew. The CS rep I spoke with on Friday was quite sure that they were and that is why I felt comfortable in passing the (wrong) information along. I apologize for the error -- whenever possible I work to confirm any company news I pass along, however in this case it looks like I jumped the gun and caused myself some unnecessary stress in the process. Thanks for the support in that post. Reading your comments galvanized me as I fretted. I'm glad that you're as invested in the community as I am.
I've got a nice backlog of posts to get through starting with some reviews. Let's get to it, shall we?

I saw the Sunny Escape Tank ($68) in-store displayed under the Peeking Lace Blazer ($118, review here) and decided to give both items a shot myself. This tank is made for comfort. C. Keer used light cotton to great effect. I love the tiny flowers all over this and while I'm normally anti-orange this technically red top has a pleasing palette.
I grabbed my normal size medium and I was swimming in it. The bottom of this shirt has some weight to it and I felt it pulling downward. While I loved the feel of the top I was not pleased to see the bottom lace inset was turning from circle into chevron. The result was making me look wider than I already am around the hips. I'm sure that trading down to a small would fix this. Be warned that this shirt does flare out a bit towards the hem. Tricky for pear shapes. I like this shirt a lot in spite of its challenges and I plan on picking it up soon. In my cart.

Deletta's McKay Tank ($78) is one of those tops that I love but some of my friends find ridiculous. The tank itself is cotton and the collar is polyester with layers of ruffles, fabric beads and a big ol' bow. I tried on the small and it worked perfectly on me.
There is an elastic hem on the bottom of this shirt but in the dark grey I was able to place it low enough on my hips to keep a good shape. The fabric of the shirt is meant to be wrinkly which is a little frustrating. It takes the shirt down a notch. The collar is removable -- convenient for washing but without you're left with a $78 cotton tank top. Still I love this top! I would have bought it if it were $20 cheaper. Wishlisted for now.

one.september comes all-so-close to perfection with their All-The-Fixings Top ($68). There are a couple of issues that keep me from altogether loving it. First, it's made of a really thin cotton/polyester mix that I can tell is going to stretch with wear. Anthropologie items usually last a long time, and maybe I'm wrong here, but I feel like next spring this shirt won't be in great shape.
Secondly, I do not like the location of the lace trim. It it were at the natural waist it be a shape-flattering accent. Instead it sits at the top of the hips drawing attention to the fact that my hourglass is about to flare out. It's not terrible; the inset two inches lower would have been far worse. It's just not as flattering as I'd hope. The lace only goes halfway around and since the shirt falls straight down from the chest this looks wide from the side. I tried on my true size medium in this shirt. A pass for me.
