When I saw this catalog shot I thought the model looks a little silly in the Aniseed Skirt ($128). It is almost swallowing her whole. For once, I had better luck than the model.

I found this skirt to be fantastic on. My guess is that if you are slight with a straighter shape this skirt is not going to work on you. You'll feel like you're wearing a huge bubble. This skirt really suits curves. I grabbed my true size 8 and it was pretty loose at the waist. I will most likely size down to a size 6 to buy this instant winner from Eva Franco. Since it runs large it's possible that's what is throwing the proportions off for the model.
I think the little square knot on the front is kind of odd. Like there was a bow there and the last minute Anthropologie edited. The side view of this skirt also leaves something to be desired (see shots below). If you're afraid of a voluminous silhouette run and run now. I overheard a couple of ladies in the fitting room talking trash about this skirt and I am totally OK with that! I would much rather keep this one all to myself. I may have joined in...oh yes this skirt is terrible, just terrible. Hey, can I have the last size 6 sitting right behind you? Yeah, I just want...go tell someone else how horrible it is...at the checkout counter. Wishlisted.

Language's Ruched Pansy Tee ($68) features an intricate burnout pattern that doesn't photograph very well. You'll just have to trust me on this one. 5th Ave only had XSs and Ls left so I grabbed the large. Looks like this one runs true to size, which would mean a medium for me. My friend who was with me said it looked like someone swatted an overfilled bug right over my chest. Ha! I can't help but agree.
This top trails away from the body in front creating a tent-like effect. I envision wearing this tucked into a skirt but wanted to give you the full view for the review. I don't like the bracelet sleeves. It looks like the shirt is too short on me. Otherwise I like it a lot, smushed bug or not. Wishlisted for sale time.

I didn't realize Tiny's Buds & Stripes Top ($78) had the diagonal black stripe on it until I turned around in the dressing room. It was quite the surprise! Not really sure why they didn't continue the pretty floral silk all the way around but whatever.
I grabbed my true size medium which slipped on perfectly. There is a long braided tie belt in the same pattern as the back. The v is cut perfectly in my opinion. I also liked the length; the shirt stopped at low hip. Thumbs up! For dressier offices I could see this being the shell under your suiting blazer. I think it would also make a great night on the town top. Another one to the wishlist -- I'd consider this round a success!
