It's all smiles when you're a model! But in the immortal words of The Fug Girls, tights are not pants. And I don't think jeggings count either. Jeggings by the way are denim leggings. Cry. But we'll get to those in a bit.

Porridge's Country Manor Top ($68) originally debuted a couple of months ago but this month brought some new patterns. I love the Wright-reminiscent pattern on the far left. This shirt is nice and soft. I see it mostly as a weekend piece but Anthropologie succeeded in dressing the middle variation up. Horses are never a bad thing.

Flowers, flowers everywhere. Some are attached, like on Deletta's Grand Affair Tank ($88), Little Yellow Button's Zigzags & Zinnias Tee ($68) and the Variegated Rosette Shirt ($78) by Yoana Baraschi. Some are embroidered like Floreat's Solar Star Blouse ($98) and some are prints like Tiny's Buds & Stripes Top ($78). Review of the Tiny top coming up on Monday. All of these tops are easily layerable and have palettes that work both now and layer. Well, the Floreat top might be too sunny for winter in NYC. But that has never stopped me before!

Shades of grey abound from the Stepping-Out Tee ($88) by Bordeaux and the birthday wishlisted Stratus Cloud Top ($78) by Red Bird. I also saw the Through-the-Clouds Tank ($68) from Deletta in a sky blue with shades of grey in it in-store -- a different, lighter shade than the dark grey shade that has sold out online. What I like about these tops is that they are simple yet chic and can be worn as an underlayer now and by themselves later -- just like the tops above this mini-set. I can't wait to try some outfits out with these.

Anthro's spring dresses all seem to embody classic shapes. Maeve's Fifth Form Shift ($128) has a ruched bodice that almost looks like a bow; while their Traced Denim Dress ($118) might be exactly the denim dress I've been looking for. Orla Kiely makes a return to Anthro's racks with her Beanstalk Dress ($208) and Corey Lynn Calter's Larkspur Capelet Dress ($188) is a different shape then the designer normally does. Consider me intrigued.

Charlotte Tarantola is taking Anthro's cardigan section by storm. Still waiting for this lace one to hit the website, but in the meantime we've got the Happy Hour Cardigan ($128) and the Unbroken Chains Cardigan ($128) to consider. Let's see, I see a D-ring snaffle, a chain-link snaffle...

Deep breaths. The only thing scarier than jeggings is that most of them are already sold out from the NYC Anthros. The fashion apocalypse approaches. That means you, J Brand Sable Leggings ($165), Joe's Medium Rinse Leggings ($92), AG Denim Leggings ($150) and Joe's Dark Rinse Leggings ($78).

To rescue me from jeggings I think I'll go with a pretty skirt. Anthro's got some nice pencil skirts to choose from but the Ocean Mist Skirt ($128) by Floreat and Eva Franco's Aniseed Skirt ($128) are at the top of my list. I tried on the second skirt and it's amazing. Full review upcoming.
