One of my goals this summer was to find a dress that I can belt. I have about 15 belts that I hardly ever use and it just seems silly. The belt-able dresses I've tried have mostly been sad sacks. I was hoping for a bit more from the Wind Patterns Dress ($98).

This olive color brought out my eyes nicely. Unfortunately the store employees informed me that you can't bring a belt into the dressing room with you. Which is pretty silly in my opinion. I can see enforcing the no accessories rule with jewelry (and even then it should be discretionary). But a belt? Come on. So I only got to see the look halfway.
The waist elastic seemed durable. Jersey doesn't last forever but I felt like this Deletta frock would hold up well for at least a couple years to come. The medium was best fit wise for me. I was left feeling that the dress would function well as a cover-up. I already have a few cover-ups so this one was headed back to the rack. Maybe the belt would have convinced me.
