The Bungalow Dress ($278), by Plenty by Tracy Reese was getting a lot of attention in-store. I think I am in the minority here but this dress throws me for a loop. I like both layers of it. Separately. Together? I'm not sold. The draping of the skirt is lovely. The sweetheart neckline is a delight. To me it looks as though the striped number underneath was added to keep this dress firmly in the demure camp. Maybe if the stripes were pink or khaki I would be doing better. I feel like the black, though a nice contrast, is a bit too strong. Feel free to tell me I'm crazy in the comments...what do you think of this dress?
